Creatine is a daily habit. Primed is part of it.

Creatine is one of the most studied supplements in sports nutrition, and it is on Primed's label at 2 g per scoop. It is also one of the most misunderstood, so here is how it actually works and where Primed fits.

How creatine works. Creatine is not a same-day kick. Your muscles store it as phosphocreatine, which they use to quickly remake ATP (adenosine triphosphate), the molecule your cells run on during short, hard efforts. A normal diet leaves those stores roughly 60–80% full. Taking creatine every day tops them up over time. The benefit comes from stores that stay full, not from the scoop you took an hour ago.

What the research uses. The International Society of Sports Nutrition position stand describes about 3 g a day for 28 days as a gradual way to fill muscle stores, and 3–5 g a day to keep them full once they are. It also notes that some larger athletes may need more. Read the ISSN position stand.

Why daily matters. Stores fill through consistency, and they slowly drift back down when you stop. That is why creatine works best as an everyday habit, rest days included.

Where Primed fits. Primed has 2 g of creatine monohydrate per scoop, per 100 lbs of bodyweight, capped at 3 scoops (6 g). A 150-lb athlete takes 1.5 scoops for 3 g. A 250-lb athlete takes 2.5 scoops for 5 g. That adds toward your daily total on the days you train.

But a pre-workout only shows up on training days, so Primed is not built to be your whole creatine plan. Keep a simple daily creatine habit, and let Primed add to it when you train. Every amount is printed on the label, nothing is hidden in a blend, and you can check the math yourself.

Creatine is a daily habit. Primed is part of it.
