Ingredients & Why We Chose Them

We built this Intra-Workout Hydration + EAA Module by using a solid electrolyte base and adding a full 7 g Essential Amino Acid blend — the exact combination serious lifters and athletes actually need during training. Every ingredient was picked for one reason: real performance + hydration without junk.

Key Active Ingredients (per scoop):

  • Sodium (≈570 mg from Sodium Chloride) The #1 electrolyte lost in sweat. We kept this at a strong clinical level so bigger lifters (250 lb+) and heavy sweaters stay hydrated and keep their strength up even in hot or long sessions. No under-dosing like most “sports drinks.”
  • Potassium (≈200 mg from Potassium Chloride) Works with sodium to maintain proper fluid balance and muscle contractions. Balanced ratio prevents cramping without overloading the formula.
  • Magnesium (50 mg as Glycinate — premium form) Highly absorbable and gentle on the stomach. Helps with muscle relaxation and recovery during training (we left the bulk of your magnesium needs to the separate Magnesium Module so you can customize it exactly).
  • Coconut Water Powder (500 mg) Natural source of potassium and electrolytes with a light, clean taste. Adds real-food hydration without artificial fillers.
  • ConcenTrace® Trace Minerals (100 mg — 72 minerals) A tiny but powerful boost of ionic trace minerals from the Great Salt Lake. Supports overall electrolyte balance and cellular hydration most products ignore.
  • Full Essential Amino Acids (7 g total EAA blend) All 9 EAAs (not just the 3 BCAAs) with 2.5–3 g leucine. This is the proven dose for triggering muscle protein synthesis during your workout — better recovery, less soreness, and actual muscle protection. We upgraded from plain BCAAs because modern science shows the full profile works noticeably better.

Barrier Intra-Workout Hydration + EAA Module – How Much to Take Mix 1–2 scoops in 16–20 oz cold water and sip throughout your training session.

50–150 lb → 1 scoop

151–250 lb → 1.5 scoops

250+ lb → 2 scoops

All-day or long dehydrating sessions (work, multiple soccer matches, hiking, etc.) Mix your normal serving in double the water (32–40 oz per scoop). Sip slowly over several hours. This keeps you steadily hydrated without making the drink too strong or upsetting your stomach.

Maximum 3 scoops per day
